Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Small abandoned quarry exposes conglomerate of the Chlebovice Beds (Formation). This is probably the historical type locality of Hohenegger (1861). Some other quarries nearby show sandstone-claystone flysch accompanying the conglomerates. Age according foraminifer fauna is Cenomanian.
